
Harris Named to 247Sports Preseason True Freshman All-American Team

Harris is the first Gator to be named to the 247Sports’ Preseason True Freshman All-American team since 2021.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Gators offensive lineman Knijeah Harris was tabbed to the Preseason True Freshman All-American Team for 2023, 247Sports announced Thursday.
Harris is the first Gator to be named to the 247Sports' Preseason True Freshman All-American Team since Jason Marshall in 2021.
The Port St. Lucia, Fla. native played in the 2023 Under Armour All-America Game and was graded the No. 1 center in the nation by ESPN. Harris started as a freshman in high school at St. Lucie West Centennial, before serving as a starting offensive lineman at IMG Academy.
Harris and the Florida Gators will open the 2023 season at Utah on Aug. 31 at 8 p.m. ET in Rice-Eccles Stadium.
