Former Gators make an impact in first round of NFL Playoffs
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The "Gator Boys" came out to play in Super Wild Card weekend this year, with 19 former Gators suiting up for the NFL Playoffs.
Offensive Highlights
Demarcus Robinson had another strong performance as the LA Rams took on the Detroit Lions. Robinson hauled in three catches for 44 yards. Some Gator on Gator crime led to this Robinson reception over former Gator C.J. Gardner-Johnson.
Defensive Highlights
Another week another article featuring C.J. Gardner-Johnson and Alex Anzalone. The duo led the lions in tackles with Gardner-Johnson recording seven total (four SOLO) and Anzalone recording another eight (six SOLO). Anzalone also recorded two tackles for loss. The Lions will take on the Tampa Bay at home next week.
Former first round pick Kaiir Elam had a career day recording five tackles (one SOLO) and an interception in the endzone to help the Bills beat the Steelers. Buffalo will play the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional round next weekend.
