GAINESVILLE, Fla. – ESPN and SEC Network have officially released the 2024 television schedule for the upcoming season. Florida is scheduled to appear 15 times across the ESPN family of networks plus an additional 10 home games will be digitally produced via SEC Network+.

This season the Gators will play in pair of Saturday, Sunday, Monday SEC series as the program will travel to Alabama March 9-11, and will then later host LSU April 6-8, at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium. Each series finale is set to be SEC Network's primetime matchup will start at 7 p.m.

Overall, the Orange & Blue will play nine games on SEC Network, two games on ESPNU, two games on ESPN2 and one game on ESPN. Also, the Gators will appear 10 times on SEC Network+ throughout the regular season and multiple more times on SECN+ on the road.

In addition, all 12 games of the 2024 SEC Softball Tournament will be televised on May 7-11. Nine games from the first and quarterfinal rounds will air on SEC Network, while the semifinals and title game will air on ESPN2.

This season the Gators roster boasts a balanced mix of impactful returning players and talented newcomers. National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Player of the Year,
Skylar Wallace, along with All-SEC performers
Kendra Falby and
Reagan Walsh return to build off their successful 2023 seasons in addition to
Avery Goelz,
Baylee Goddard,
Emily Wilkie and
Katie Kistler, who are set to start their senior campaigns.

This season the Gators also welcome a total of 11 newcomers to the program as seven freshmen and four transfers are set to make an impact this year.

Alyssa Hovermale,
Cassidy McLellan,
Ariel Kowalewski and
Olivia Miller are freshmen that were touted as the best signing class in the nation by Extra Innings Softball.

Jocelyn Erickson (Oklahoma),
Korbe Otis (Louisville),
Brooke Barnard (Ole Miss) and
Mackenzie Wooten (Virginia).Â

The 2024 season is officially set to begin Feb. 9, at 5:30 p.m. (ET) when Florida will take on Oregon State in Tampa, Fla. at the USF-Rawlings Invitational that is hosted by USF. The Gators first home game at Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium is slated for Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 6 p.m. against Jacksonville.
