GAINESVILLE, Fla. –  The Gators started strong in 2024 with 20 players punching their ticket to the NFL Playoffs. Here are some of the standouts from past stars of the Orange and Blue.

Offensive Highlights
La'Mical Perine had a breakout game for the 2023 AFC West Division winning Chiefs as the RB rushed for 76 yards on 21 attempts. Perine picked up another 33 yards though the air off three receptions. Perine's 109 all-purpose yards are a career high. The third seed Chiefs will take on the sixth seed Miami on Saturday.

Defensive Highlights
C.J. Gardner-Johnson is back from injury for Detroit and immediately made his presence know. The fourth year Safety racked up four total tackles (four SOLO) a pass break-up and an interception in Detroit's 30 to 20 win against division rival Minnesota. Â
The list of impactful Gators on Detroit's roster doesn't stop at Gardner-Johnson, Alex Anzalone also had a banner day finishing with nine total tackles (eight SOLO). Both Gardner Johnson and Anzalone will be in the playoffs as the third seed Lions face off against the sixth seed Rams on Sunday.
