
Wu Claims second SEC Freshman of Week Honor

Siuue Wu was named the conference freshman of the week behind her T10 outing at The Ally.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Florida women's golfer Siuue Wu claimed her second SEC Freshman of the Week honor this fall to finish the first half of the season, the league office announced.
Wu helped the Gators defend their title at The Ally last week and win back-to-back events to end the fall season. Last season, Florida won three consecutive events to finish the fall.
The freshman from Hong Kong, finished T10 with a 54-hole score of 2-under 214. Wu shot an opening round and season-low 3-under 69 then closed with a final round of 1-under 71. She tied for second most birdies in the field with 14.
In her three starts this season, Wu has paced T10 and T25 with a 2-0-1 record in match play at the Barbara Nicklaus Cup.
The Orange and Blue tee off the spring season in the 'Sunshine State' at the Sea Best Intercollegiate on Jan. 27-28 at San Jose Country Club.
