Baseball Sets Program GPA Record

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The University of Florida's 2024 fall semester saw the Gators baseball program post its highest grade point average in team history.
At 3.24, Florida Baseball's semester GPA signified a new program record outside of the 2020 spring semester. The Gators posted a 3.26 mark during the remote COVID term.
Additionally, UF student-athletes collectively set an all-time high with 435 individuals earning a 3.0 GPA or higher. The record signified the third-semester in which Florida student-athletes reset their GPA high (413 in Spring 2024, 401 in Fall 2023). Florida also saw 18 programs post a cumulative GPA above 3.0 highlighted by 16 that earned a 3.0 for the fall term.
UF student-athletes also finished with a combined 3.39 semester GPA to set yet another academic record. That was powered by new term and cumulative GPA highs from the men's teams, with the women's squad also finishing with a record 3.46 cumulative GPA.
Through The Gators Experience program, all 21 sports logged 1,095 community service hours from 81 volunteer opportunities benefiting 32 organizations in the fall semester.
Many Gators also completed their degrees this fall, as 21 student-athletes graduated with a bachelor's degrees while another eight earned a master's.
