GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 14
th-ranked Florida softball team is set to host the T-Mobile Tournament this Friday through Sunday and will welcome Colgate, Illinois-Chicago and Lafayette to Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium.

The Gators (10-2) enter the weekend after taking a pair of games, 10-0 (6 innings) and 14-0 (5 innings), at UNF this past Wednesday evening. The Orange & Blue picked up solid pitching performances from freshmen
Ava Brown (5-0,
Keagan Rothrock (4-2, 1 SV) and
Olivia Miller in the efforts as the trio allowed only three hits total through the two shutout wins.

Overall, the program is tied for the nation's lead with six total shutouts on the season.

Offensively, UF scored 24 runs on 23 hits with three doubles, two triples and five home runs. Brown hit a three-run home run in the game one win, while UF belted four in the game two victory with the hometown duo of
Katie Kistler and
Baylee Goddard hitting homers. In addition,
Brooke Barnard belted her first home run as a Gator and
Jocelyn Erickson registered her 20
th RBI of the year on her homer.

Erickson's 20 RBI currently rank first in the Southeastern Conference and second in the nation behind East Carolina's Morgan Johnson who currently sits with 21 RBI.

As a whole Florida's offense is hitting .357 (117-for-328) with 103 runs scored, 21 doubles, five triples and 17 home runs. UF also leads the nation currently in total walks with 56 this year.
