
Three Gators Receive GolfWeek All-American Honors

Maisie Filler (Second Team), Ian Gilligan (Honorable Mention) and Jack Turner (Third Team) all collected their second all-american selections this season.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Florida golf trio of Maisie Filler, Ian Gilligan and Jack Turner all received GolfWeek All-American honors.
They all earned the all-american nod after each was collected honors by their respective golf coaches association group - WGCA and GCAA - in addition to All-SEC designation too.

- Four-time SEC Golfer of the Week
- Played in every tournament (10) and was in the lineup for the third consecutive season with eight times in the No. 1 spot
- Won three straight stroke play tournaments becoming the eighth Gator all-time to win three events in a season and in a row since Sierra Brooks in 2018
- Medalist honors came at the Tar Heel Invitational (first collegiate win), The Ally and Moon Golf Invitational
- Led the team in stroke average (71.3), birdies (109), top-5s (6), top-10s (6), top-25s (7), low 18 (64), 36 (134), 54-hole (203) scores, rounds in the 60s (10), team-best finishes (6), par or better rounds (19), under par rounds (14) and tournaments (6).
- Finished 10th at NCAA East Lansing Regional behind a final round of 69 (-3) for a 54-hole score of 213 (-3) for her third career top-25 at regionals
- Out of 54-holes at regionals, made 40 pars and nine birdies
- Shot a bogey-free 8-under 64 at the Tar Heel Invitational, setting the second-lowest round in program history, breaking her previous record of 65
- Also at the Tar Heel Invitational, she had a tournament score of 13-under 203, which tied the second-lowest individual tournament score in program history for the second time in her career
- Went 3-0 in match at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge with wins over Lion Higo (Pepperdine), Alessia Nobilio (UCLA) and Lauren Kim (Texas)
- Finished T25 at the SEC Championship
- In 540 holes in stroke play events, combined for 449 birdies, pars, and eagles for a mark of 83.1%

- Took his SEC Championship Quarterfinals match vs. Gordon Sargent (Vanderbilt) to extra holes and won 1up in 20 holes
- Led the team in low round (62), 36-hole (131), 54-hole (200), low par 18 (-8), top-25s (10), birdies (137), rounds counted (34), eagles (6), par or better rounds (21)
- Helped Gators earn a spot in the fourth round of stroke play at the NCAA Championship behind a 1-under 71
- Made his Florida debut in the season-opener at the OFCC/Fighting Illini Invitational finishing a team-best T8
- In the second round of stroke play at SECs, shot a 4-under 66
- Recorded a 8-under 208 at the Southern Highlands
- Started the spring with finishes of 2-3-1
- Tied the program round record for score with a 62 (-8) at the Gators Invitational
- Had a strech of 12 conescuitve rounds of par or better to start the spring season
- Had a 10-under 200 54-hole score the Gators Invitational

- Tied for team-best T23 finish at the NCAA National Championship
- After a T78 finish in debut, finished T23 or better
- Finished T2 at SECs tied for second-best by a Florida true freshman since Camilo Villegas in 2001
- shot a bogey-free 5-under 65 round two, one shot back of the SEC Championship record
- Went 1-0 in match play in the conference tournament with a 1Up victory over Vanderbilt's Cole Sherwood after winning the last three consecutive holes
- Owned a team-best 71.0 stroke average, placing him 12th all-time single-season stroke average and third-best by a freshman since 1981
- Led the Gators in par or better tournament scores (6), average relation to par for 18 (-0.79) and 54 (-2.37) and tied for a team-high five top-10 finishes
- Placed T23 or better in all three postseason tournaments; T2 at SECs, T18 at Regionals and T23 at Nationals
- Five of his 10 postseason rounds were for par or better
- Had a stretch of five under par tournaments (-5, -5, -4, -6, -1)
- Made 96 birdies (3.5 per round) with three eagles, including one at the NCAA National Championship
- 16 of his 27 total rounds were for par or better
