Lorenz, Wallace Earn Athletes Unlimited Captain Designations for Week Two

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The 2024 Athletes Unlimited Pro Softball Championship Season is underway as the first week of competition ended with a pair of former Florida softball standouts earning captain status after a successful first week.
Amanda Lorenz and Skylar Wallace each finished with a total of 450 points after the first week of competition to rank third and fourth respectively on the current leaderboard and achieve captain status for the second week of competition. Jordan Roberts currently ranks 16th (340 points), Kelsey Stewart-Hunter ranks 22nd (280 points) and Aleshia Ocasio ranks 24th (254 points).
Lorenz and Wallace both competed on the same team this past week so the duo tallied an equal number of win points (320), but they also managed to equal each other in stat points (70) and MVP points (60).
During the week two draft, Lorenz selected for Florida teammates Ocasio and Roberts to compete on Team Blue, while Wallace selected Stewart-Hunter to compete with her on Team Purple. Those two teams are set to compete August 4, at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
All games are scheduled to be held at the Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont, Ill.
