LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Following her third career no-hitter on Friday at South Carolina, junior Keagan Rothrock has been named the National Pitcher of the Week by the National Fastpitch Coaches' Association (NFCA) and Softball America. The Southeastern Conference also named her Pitcher of the Week.
In her first career SEC no-hitter, Rothrock (21-4) struck out eight Gamecocks, only allowing base runners via five walks.
It was her first no-hitter since her freshman season vs. Cal State Fullerton on March 1, 2024 and her first career seven-inning no-hitter. Her other two no-hitters came in five-inning Gator victories.
Rothrock picked up two wins in Columbia, allowing just one run and four hits in 12.2 innings of work with 14 strikeouts. She finished the weekend with a .55 ERA.
She is the first Florida pitcher to be named the NFCA Pitcher of the Week since Kelly Barnhill in 2019 and first to earn SEC Pitcher of the Week honors since Elizabeth Hightower in 2023.
