
Gators Announce 2024 Cross Country Schedule

The Gators are set to compete in seven races during the 2024 campaign.
GAINESVILLE, Fla - Florida Gators Cross Country announced its 2024 schedule on Wednesday, featuring four regular season meets followed by the postseason trio of the SEC Championship, NCAA South Regional, and NCAA Championship meets.
Florida will not host an event in Gainesville during the 2024 campaign, hitting the road for all seven events this season. The Gators will compete in Orlando to open the season in the UCF invite on August 30.
The Gators' final two regular season meets will be the FSU XC Invite in Tallahassee and the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals meet in Madison, providing an opportunity to prepare for the postseason by competing at the sites that will host the NCAA South Regional and NCAA Championship meets.
2023 Season Review
In the first Cross Country season under the tutelage of coaches Will and Sam Palmer, the Gators found immediate success. The women's team took home their first SEC Championship since 2012, their seventh in program history. The men improved to 7th in the SEC Championship meet and 10th in the NCAA South Regional, up from 10th and 19th respectively in 2022.
