Meet the Gators: Kylie Shaw
Thursday, January 30, 2025 | Softball
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – With exactly one week left until Florida opens the season on Feb. 6, it's time to meet Kylie Shaw, the ninth Gator newcomer in our Meet the Gators series.
Shaw is a freshman outfielder from Estero, Fla., who will wear No. 2 for the Orange & Blue.
She is one of Florida's two mid-year enrollees, including Makenna Bellaire, who reclassified and graduated from high school a semester early, joining the Gators at the beginning of January.
She signed her athletics aid agreement on National Signing Day in November.
She capped off her high school career with a 2024 Class 2A State Championship title as a junior, earning First-Team All-State Class 2A honors.
Shaw held a .556 career batting average (185-for-333) at Evangelical Christian School with 181 runs, 87 RBI, 34 doubles, 21 triples, 10 home runs and 108 stolen bases.
On the travel ball circuit, she played for Sparks Elite Stewart/Ross and was a Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) All-American in 2024.
Shaw is planning to major in sports management.
