Florida Volleyball Returns to AVCA/TARAFLEX Top-25 at No. 25

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Florida volleyball team is back in the national rankings, checking in at No. 25 in this week's AVCA Coaches Poll, announced Monday afternoon. The Gators (12-7, 7-3 SEC) return to the Top-25 after receiving votes for the last three weeks.
Florida's remaining schedule features two opponents ranked in the top-25. The Gators face No. 2 Texas, who received two first-place votes this week and a top-10 showdown against No. 9 Texas A&M.
Florida currently holds a 4-4 record against opponents ranked in the AVCA top-25, highlighted by wins over then No. 3 Pitt, No. 20 Baylor, No. 25 Missouri and most recent victory over No. 16 Tennessee on Oct. 15, while suffering losses against No. 6 Stanford, No. 25 North Carolina, No. 6 Wisconsin and fell in five sets to No. 3 Kentucky on Oct. 19.
