Florida’s 2026 Recruiting Class Ranked Top-Six Nationally
Wednesday, November 12, 2025 | Baseball
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – As National Signing Day arrives, the Florida Baseball program boasts the nation's No. 5 recruiting class for 2026 in Baseball America's updated rankings while coming in at No. 6 via Perfect Game's list.
For the Gators, the No. 5/6 ranking marks the program's highest at Baseball America/Perfect Game since producing the No. 4 class in the country from both publications during the 2022-23 recruiting cycle. Florida's seven top-100 commitments are tied for the third-most nationally (via Perfect Game).
The Southeastern Conference led all leagues with 14 and 13 programs inside Baseball America's and Perfect Game's top-25 rankings, respectively.
The class of 2026 recruiting rankings include current high school seniors expected to graduate in the spring, meaning their first-official collegiate seasons would not come until the spring of 2027.
Florida's fall baseball season concludes this week with the annual Orange & Blue Series slated for Wednesday (3:30 p.m.), Friday (3:30 p.m.) and Saturday (1 p.m.). All three Orange & Blue Series scrimmages will be five innings in length and are open to the public.
