Wednesday, December 24, 2025 | Football
Gators are elevating their play as their teams surge toward playoff spots late in the season.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Three Gators found the end zone in Week 16, delivering major offensive performances to power their teams to wins as the NFL season winds down.
Each week of the 2025-26 season, FloridaGators.com will cover all of the best moments from the NFL stars who made a name for themselves in Gainesville.
Offense
Kyle Pitts – TE – Atlanta Falcons
Last week's NFC Offensive Player of the Week picked up right where he left off, hauling in another touchdown in the winding seconds of the second quarter and tying the game heading into halftime. The fifth-year tight end has now recorded four receiving touchdowns over his last two games, tied for the most by a Falcons tight end in any two-game span in franchise history.
Pitts finished with seven catches for 57 yards, helping power Atlanta's offense in a victory over the Cardinals.

Demarcus Robinson – WR – San Francisco 49ers
Demarcus Robinson's first touchdown as a Niner! The veteran wideout hauled in a 22-yard strike in the first quarter to put San Francisco on the board early against the Colts, setting the tone for a dominant 48-27 victory on Monday night.

Defense
C.J. Henderson – CB – Atlanta Falcons
C.J. Henderson with the pick! After not being signed to the Falcon's active roster until just a day before the game, Henderson sealed the win with a clutch interception on the Cardinals' final drive as they tried to tie the game and force overtime. The takeaway marked his first interception since his 2022 stint with the Panthers, a timely play in his second career game with Atlanta.
What a play, C.J. Henderson ‼️

Gervon Dexter Sr. – DL – Chicago Bears
Chicago's defense stepped up Saturday night, led by nose tackle Gervon Dexter Sr. The big run-stopper finished with three tackles (two solo) and a quarterback hit, helping propel the Bears in a late overtime win over division rival Green Bay and solidifying their hold on first place in the NFC North.
Special Teams
Evan McPherson – K – Cincinnati Bengals
Off the upright and in! McPherson drilled his lone field goal of the day from 45 yards and converted all six of his extra points, adding to the Bengals' 45-point offensive onslaught against the Dolphins on Sunday.

Chimere Dike – WR – Tennessee Titans
Dike showed up in all facets of the game, racking up 122 yards on kick returns and 23 yards on punt returns. The standout rookie now owns the Titans' single-season kickoff return yards record with 1,535, and his efforts on special teams earned him a Pro Bowl selection as a kick returner. He becomes the first Titans rookie to make the Pro Bowl since Marc Mariani in 2010.
In addition to his impact in the return game, Dike delivered on offense as well, hauling in three catches for 40 yards and a touchdown. Two of those receptions came on the same drive, highlighted by a spectacular toe-tapping grab that set up his later one-yard touchdown catch. The score pushed his season total to six, making him just the fourth Titans rookie since 1999 to reach at least six touchdowns.
