
Florida finishes second at Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational

All six Gators placed in the top-20 with Ines Archer leading in a 5th place outing.
GREENSBORO, Ga. - The Florida women's golf team finished second at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational at the National Course on Sunday.
Six Gators finished inside the top-20 while UF earned its seventh top-5 finish of the season, adding to three wins and a pair of 4th place outings in the fall. After three rounds, Florida had a team score of 890 (+26) as Western Kentucky won the tournament at 884 (+20).
Inès Archer was the top finisher in the lineup behind a 5th place outing, marking her second top-5 of the spring slate. She shot a final round of 1-under 71 with a bogey-free back nine to end +5 for the weekend and four shots back of medalist honors. The under par round was only one of 10 through all three rounds.
Competing as an individual, freshman Elaine Widjaja placed 8th at 8-over. She carded a round three of even-par 72 with four birdies on the day. It was her third top-10 of the season, tied for a team-best with Archer.
One stroke separated the next four UF golfers in the lineup. Siuue Wu (+9) finished T12 as she made an eagle in her final 18-holes on the par5 8th (471 yards) and was only one three to make an eagle at the tournament. After an opening round of +7, she went +2 and +1 to close out.
In T15, Addison Klonowski (+10) snagged her team-high sixth top-25 of the season. A shot behind her was Paula Francisco (+11) and Jessica Guiser (+11) tied for 20th.
Two more events remain in the regular season for the Gators, starting with the host of the Gators Invitational (March 7-9) and ending at the Chattanooga Invitational (March 28-30).
