GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The No. 4 Florida softball team kicks off its seven-game road swing this week with a pair of midweek games, traveling to Jacksonville and North Florida on Wednesday and Thursday.

Both games are set for 6 p.m. first pitches and will air on ESPN+.

The Gators (28-4, 3-3 Southeastern Conference) are a combined 47-0 against the Dolphins and the Ospreys in program history.

The Gators are 7-0 against in-state competitions this season, recording wins over Jacksonville, Stetson, North Florida, FGCU, FAMU, USF and UCF. Of those seven wins, six of them were run-rule victories and five were shutouts

- Senior Kendra Falby (.444), junior Jocelyn Erickson (.438) and freshman Taylor Shumaker (.421) are all hitting above .400 against Florida schools

The Gators are 6-1 on the road this season
