Gators Complete Opening Round at Southern Highlands

Florida is tied for 10th through 18-holes.
LAS VEGAS - The No. 11/10 Florida men's golf team completed the opening round of the Southern Highlands Collegiate on Sunday.
The Gators posted a team score of 307 (+19) and are tied for 10th with Oklahoma and USC. Auburn leads the tournament through 18-holes at 1-under. Florida is set to tee off round two tomorrow at 12:20 p.m. ET at Southern Highlands Golf Club.
A pair of UF golfers in Luke Poulter and Zack Swanwick shot a 4-over 76, tied for the low rounds in the lineup today and sit T30. The next counting scores were one-shot from another in Ian Gilligan with a 5-over 77 in T41 and Jack Turner at 6-over 78 in T51.
Redshirt-freshman Rylan Shim rounds out the lineup in T74 with a round one of 82 (+10) followed by Matthew Kress (individual) tied for 51st after a score of 78 (+6).
