
No. 4 Softball Secures Series Sweep Over Auburn

AUBURN, Ala. – The No. 4 Florida softball team capped off a road series sweep of Auburn at Jane B. Moore Field for the first time since 2011 on Sunday afternoon, downing the Tigers 4-3.
Reagan Walsh led the scoring for Florida (33-5, 6-3 Southeastern Conference), driving in two runs with her sixth double of the season.
With a 3-for-4 day at the dish, Kendra Falby moved into second all-time in career hits at Florida, jumping Amanda Lorenz.
In the circle, Ava Brown (8-0) picked up her second SEC win of the season, allowing one run in 3.2 innings with a strikeout.
Katelynn Oxley earned her second career save, tossing 1.1 scoreless innings with one strikeout to close out the sweep over the Tigers (22-14, 0-12 SEC).
NOTABLES:
Florida travels to JoAnne Graf Field in Tallahassee on April 2 for a midweek contest against No. 7 Florida State on ACCNX.
