
Davies and Monaco Named to NCAA All-Tournament Team

The two players combined for 19 goals in the NCAA Tournament.
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Kaitlyn Davies and Gianna Monaco of the Florida lacrosse team were recognized on the 2025 NCAA All-Tournament Team, following Sunday's national championship game.
Davies totaled eight goals, eight ground balls, seven caused turnovers and 10 draw controls in four games of the NCAA Tournament. She tied a career high of five goals in the second round of the tournament against Stanford, and her five caused turnovers in the semifinals against North Carolina were a program NCAA Tournament game record. Her seven caused turnovers in the tournament tied a program record for most in an NCAA Tournament.
The captain won at least two draw controls in all four games, and scooped at least one ground ball in all four games. Her five ground balls against North Carolina were a career high.
Monaco logged 11 goals, five assists and three ground balls in four games this tournament, setting career highs with seven goals and eight points against Mercer in the first round. Her seven goals and eight points each tied a program NCAA Tournament game record.
The attacker recorded at least two points in all four tournament games, while recording three multi-goal games. Her 11 goals were the third most in an NCAA Tournament in program history.
Davies and Monaco were both named to the IWLCA All-America Third Team last week.
