
Shumaker, Falby & Williams Named NFCA All-Americans

OKLAHOMA CITY – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced on Wednesday afternoon that Florida softball players Taylor Shumaker, Kendra Falby and Mia Williams each earned NFCA All-American honors.
Shumaker was named an NFCA First Team All-American, while Williams and Falby were each NFCA All-American Second Team selections.
All three Gators are first-time NFCA All-America honorees.
Shumaker, the 2025 NFCA Freshman of the Year, is the only freshman in the NCAA to earn First Team honors this season.
The NFCA All-America teams are voted on by the Association's All-America Committees. In Division I, the committee is composed of one elected member head coach from each of the NFCA's 10 regions.

- Hit a pair of home runs at Ole Miss on April 11, the first multi-home run game of her career
- Batted .343 on the season with career-bests in hits (61), doubles (10), RBI (44), runs (52), walks (18) and 13 hit by pitches (13)
- Fielded 16 double plays from second base, including eight in SEC play
- Recorded 18 multi-hit and 11 multi-RBI games
