Men's Basketball Returns to Orange Bowl Classic

Florida men's basketball returns to the Orange Bowl Classic on Saturday, Dec. 13, where the Gators will face George Washington. It will mark Florida's 24th appearance in the event, which will again be held at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Fla.
Fans can purchase tickets online at orangebowl.org/basketball or by contacting the Orange Bowl Ticket Office at (305) 341-4701 or tickets@orangebowl.org. Game time and television information will be announced at a later date.
Florida holds a 19-4 record all-time in the Orange Bowl Classic, including 1-0 under head coach Todd Golden. UF's most recent appearance in the event was an 87-76 win vs. Richmond on Dec. 14, 2023.
The Orange Bowl Classic, which is the only Division I basketball event in Broward County, will feature a doubleheader including the Gators' matchup vs. the Revolutionaries and a Florida State-UMass meeting. The Gators have split four all-time meetings vs. George Washington, the most recent a road loss in the 2016 NIT quarterfinals.
