GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida's Selena Harris-Miranda is the 2026 Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Region 5 Gymnast of the Year, the WCGA announced this afternoon.
Harris-Miranda is the first Gator to claim WCGA Region 5 Gymnast of the Year honor since Trinity Thomas earned her third in 2023. The region gymnast of the year has gone to a Gator nine of the last 13 seasons.
Florida's April 16 NCAA Championships semifinal session also includes LSU, Stanford and Georgia.

AS A SENIOR (2026):
- Won 2026 NCAA Tempe Regional all-around with nation's high (39.825) in 2026 regional action
- Four WCGA All-America regular season honors – all first-team: all-around, vault, bars, beam.
- Used nation's second-highest all-around total of season (39.85) – boosted by beam 10.0 – to win versus No. 2 LSU. Named Inside Gymnastics National and Southeastern Conference Gymnast of the Week
- Won SEC Championship meet uneven bars title with a meet record 10.0. Earned All-SEC honors.
- Third career beam 10.0 earned at No. 22 Kentucky
- Competed as an all-arounder nine times, winning five meet titles: versus Arkansas (39.675), at Georgia (39.50), versus No. 2 LSU (39.85), at Kentucky (39.775), at NCAA Tempe Regional Second Round (39.825)
- All season highs 9.9755 or better – bars & beam (10.0), vault & floor (9.975)
- Week 4, 9 & 10 Southeastern Conference Gymnast of the Week and claimed season's first two SEC Specialist of the Week honors
- Leads Gators with 23 event wins – 8 beam, 5 all-around, 4 bars, 3 vault, 3 floor
- Finished 2026 regular-season action ranked in top 10 for vault (No. T8 – 9.925 national qualifying average), uneven bars (No. T5 – 9.945 NQS), balance beam (No. 2 – 9.970 NQS) and all-around (No. 6 – 39.605 NQS).
