  • According to CollegeSwimming.com, Balbuena is the No. 14-ranked recruit in the state of Florida for the class of 2018
  • Won the Florida Swimming Senior Long Course Championships in the 100-meter backstroke, with a time of 1:05.25
  • Two-time USA Swimming Scholastic All-America
  • Two-time NISCA/Speedo Girls High School Swimming All-America, most recently as member of the 200-yard medley relay team from Buchholz in 2018, which posted the 8th fastest time all year, 1:42.34
  • 2017 FHSAA 4A State Region 1 Champion/ third in the state in the 200-yard individual medley
  • Junior national qualifier
  • Part of the quartet that holds the national ration in the 200m free relay and 400 yard free relay for the 15-18 age group
  • Helped Bucholz High School swim team obtain three straight state titles
