2020-21, Junior Season
  • Johnson made his impact largely from the sidelines after missing most of the season due to a medical emergency experienced in the Gators’ fourth game of the season. He contributed in film, scout and on-court instruction as a respected voice among his teammates and the coaching staff.
  • Posted 24 points and 12 rebounds in the neutral site victory vs. Boston College, one of just eight Gators over the past 25 seasons to post a 24/12 stat line joining Kerry Blackshear, Erik Murphy, Marreese Speights, Joakim Noah, David Lee, Matt Bonner and Greg Stolt.
  • Opened the season with a strong 16-point performance in a comeback win vs. Army and added 19 in just 22 minutes vs. Stetson.

2019-20, Sophomore Season

  • Led the team in scoring 15 times and rebounding 13 times.
  • Had eight double-doubles, including three 20-point and 10-rebound games, most by a Gator since Marreese Speights had four in 2007-08.
  • With 25 points, 11 rebounds and five assists vs. LSU, he posted the Gators’ third 25/10/5 stat line since 1996, joining Nick Calathes and Matt Walsh.
  • Scored 24 points in the win vs. Arkansas, shooting 15-for-17 from the free throw line and becoming the fourth Gator since 1996 to score 24 or more points on seven or fewer field goal attempts (KeVaughn Allen, Matt Walsh, Eddie Shannon). He was also the fourth in that time to make 15 or more free throws, joining Kerry Blackshear, Joakim Noah and Taurean Green.

  • Had 19 points and 10 rebounds vs. Providence in Brooklyn, earning Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational MVP honors.
  • Johnson and teammate Kerry Blackshear Jr. each posted eight double-doubles, becoming the third Florida duo since 1996 to each earn eight or more in a season, joining Al Horford (16) and Joakim Noah (eight) in 2006-07 and Matt Bonner (10) and Udonis Haslem (eight) in 2000-01.

Johnson and Beal were the only two to do so in their NCAA Tournament debut.
  • Johnson’s double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds vs. Arkansas marked the first by a Florida freshman in SEC Tournament play since Donnell Harvey had 11 points and 12 rebounds vs. Ole Miss on March 9, 2000.
