  • 2023 World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan - Finke set two American records in the 800 free (7:38.67) and in the 1500 free (14:31.59). He notched bronze in the 800 free to record the seventh-best time in history, while finishing off his medal collection with silver in the 1500 free. His 14:31.59 marks a new personal-best as well represents the third-best time in history. 
  • 2022 World Championships in Budapest - Finke placed first in the 800 free after recording 7:39.36 for an American record. In the 1500 final, he set another American record after touching the wall in 14:36.70 for silver.
