Committed to play in the Under Armour All-America Game… As a junior in 2018, he notched 43 tackles, 21 passes defended, and eight interceptions – three of which he returned for touchdowns… Helped Winter Park to a 10-2 record and a 2018 FHSAA Class 8A Regional Semifinals appearance… Also played varsity as a sophomore, tallying 23 tackles and three passes defended… Missed most of his senior season due to injury… Ethan’s second cousins are Maurkice and Mike Pouncey, twin brothers who currently play in the NFL for the Steelers and Chargers, respectively… Maurkice and Mike were 2009 All-SEC First Team selections for the Gators… Maurkice was also the 2009 Rimington Award winner, and a first-team All-America selection by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, Football Writers of America Association, and Sporting News.
