Florida Gators Sports at a Glance

  • National titles in football and men's basketball paced the University of Florida athletics program to a sixth-place finish overall in the 2006-07 Sports Academy Directors' Cup competition. • A total of 11 Gator athletic teams finished in the top 10 of their respective sports, including five finishes in the top five. Florida won six SEC Championships in 2006-07, giving it a league-high 44 titles in the last 10 years. The Gators led the league with six SEC titles: men's basketball, football, gymnastics, soccer, volleyball and women's SEC Champions tennis.
