Gators EmpowHER is a daily initiative to provide opportunities for connection, collaboration, and enrichment for our current and former Gator female athletes. EmpowHER will offer opportunities to provide a network of gator-minded support systems through mentoring, career education, and preparatory events.
EmpowHER Connections
EmpowHER Connections is a mentor program that strives to connect current female student-athletes to female alums who have and are on the same career path. The vision is to add to HER growing network to help further their educational, career, and life goals.
There are three different levels of engagement: Gators, Blue, and Orange.

EmpowHER Beyond
EmpowHER Beyond is the yearly postgraduate scholarship / award. This opportunity will offer financial support to UF graduate students who are UF undergraduates who intend to attend graduate school at an institution of their choosing. Recipients will be selected based on their academic performance and achievements in advancing women's collegiate sports, as highlighted in their application.
EmpowHER Beyond includes further career education opportunities as well. The aim is to provide to choose professional internships, attend professionally designed conferences etc. Offered throughout the school year and summer.
Stay In The Game
Stay In The Game is a yearly career exposure event for female student-athletes. During this event, our female student-athletes have a chance to interact with professional women from across the spectrum of any career related to sport. To receive advice and discuss ideas about how to enter a professional career.
EmpowHER Committee
This is an opportunity for alumni and current female student-athletes from each sport to commit to two meetings throughout the academic year to collaborate on new ways to create engagement to continue to empower the network within the Gator community.
