SUMMER (2017): Played for the Madison Mallards in the Northwoods League, seeing action on the mound and in the field…Pitched in 10 games with a 2.28 ERA over 23.2 innings…Had 21 strikeouts to six walks…Went 17-for-82 (.207) at the plate with 13 runs scored and 19 walks…Had three doubles and eight RBI.
AS A FRESHMAN (2017): Played in 18 games, seeing time in the outfield, and made 18 appearances on the mound…Posted a 1-2 record with a 8.03 earned run average over 12.1 innings…Struck out 16 batters with seven walks…Hit .154 (4-for-26) in limited action at the plate and had one double…Pitched a season high 2.2 innings without allowing a run against Florida State with four strikeouts and earned his first career win…Started in center field and notched his first career hit at Auburn on March 17.
