- Made 12 appearances on the mound with a 7.27 ERA over 26 innings
- Career-best outing came in relief against Alabama on March 31; Ruth threw 7.2 innings and allowed one run on four hits while matching his career-high with five strikeouts
- Made his collegiate debut on opening weekend against Long Beach State with two scoreless innings on Feb. 17
- Last appearance of the season came on April 18 at LSU; was sidelined due to injury the remainder of the season
- Transferred following the 2019 season
