AS A FRESHMAN (2010): Named to the SEC Freshman Academic Honor Roll… Made five appearances totaling 4.1 innings, compiled a 4.15 earned run average and was not involved in any decisions… Closed the final regular-season home game against UNF by allowing one hit and a run in the 9-3 triumph over the Ospreys… Faced Alabama in his SEC debut on May 7… Set down all four Illinois State batters he faced in UF’s 8-0 shutout on March 10… Notched his first career strikeout during a scoreless and hitless inning against Siena… Worked the ninth inning of the second game versus USF, finishing up the Gators’ 9-1 triumph.
