AS A SENIOR (2019): Named a team captain prior to the season and had the best year of his career, earning Second Team All-America honors and First Team All-SEC Honors…Led the team with a career-best .343 batting average, ranking eighth in the SEC, over 56 games (55 starts) and had career-highs in doubles (14), triples (2), home runs (10) and slugging percentage (.575)…Batted .297 in SEC play with seven home runs and 19 RBI…Posted 22 multi-hit games on the year with 11 multi-RBI games…Matched his career-best with two home runs against Tennessee on May 10…Had a career-high 5 RBI against Kentucky on April 26, going 3-for-5 with a double and home run…Hit .398 in home games for the season…Had three game-winning RBI…Posted a season-long hitting streak of eight games (March 8-19) in which he went 16-for-32 (.516) with 10 RBI…Selected in the 21st round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the Chicago Cubs...Graduated in August of 2019 with a degree in Anthropology.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2017): Played in 68 games with 63 starts in the outfield…The team’s most consistent hitter on the season, leading the team with a .299 average despite having just one game of three hits or more…Had 32 RBIs and led the team with a .449 on-base percentage…Had 53 walks to just 25 strikeouts on the year, the only UF regular with more walks than strikeouts…Led the SEC and ranked seventh in the country with 53 walks…Hit an astounding .400 in SEC play, the highest in conference play by a UF player since 2011 when Mike Zunino hit .422…Batting average ranked third in the SEC in league games while he finished first in on-base percentage (.544) and fourth in slugging (.644)…Had a team-best hitting streak of 11 games…Had 17 multi-hit games and seven games with multiple RBIs…Set a career high, twice, with four RBIs in a game (at Vanderbilt, 4/15, and vs. Kentucky, 5/20)…Drew three walks in a game four times on the season…Scored three runs at Alabama, 5/14, a season high.
 
AS A FRESHMAN (2016): Played in 64 games and started 59, primarily playing in LF and RF…Hit .256 (50-195) with 30 RBI and 35 runs scored…15 of his 50 hits went for extra bases, including 6 home runs, 2 triples, and 7 doubles, good for a slugging percentage of .405…His 6 home runs ranked fourth on the team and first among outfielders…Walked 25 times to go along with 38 strikeouts for an OBP of .350…Went 6 for 7 on stolen base attempts, which ranked fifth on the team…Committed 0 errors in the field…Played in 29 games in SEC play, starting all 29…Hit .300 (30-100) in SEC play, with 2 home runs and 12 RBI…Was the only Gator with a multi-HR game against SEC competition, swatting 2 HR against Kentucky on March 25…His first career hit was a pinch-hit, game-tying RBI single in the bottom of the ninth against Eastern Michigan…Hit .333 during the SEC Tournament…Named to the NCAA Gainesville Regional All-Tournament team.
 
SUMMER (2016): Played for the Madison Mallards in the Northwoods League...Batted .298 (37-for-120) with 11 doubles and four home runs for the Mallards, who earned the No. 2 seed in the division for the playoffs with a 43-29 record.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Infielder from Jefferson High School who played for head coaches Emeterio “Pop” Cuesta and Juan Fontela…Ranked as No. 7 third baseman in the state of Florida in the Class of 2015 Final Rankings from Perfect Game…Rated No. 124 in Florida by Baseball America for the MLB Draft…Selected to the Class 6A All-State Team last spring…As a senior, he hit .458 with 22 RBI, 12 stolen bases, 11 doubles and three homers…Earned the 2015 Wade Boggs Athletic Achievement Award, presented to a Hillsborough County baseball player who combines athletic, academic and community achievements…Was an Honorable Mention Preseason All-American and was named Florida All-Region Honorable Mention by Rawlings/Perfect Game prior to his senior year…Was a 2014 First-Team Tampa Tribune All-Hillsborough County selection after hitting .432 with 26 RBI, 25 runs, 12 stolen bases and four homers…Named a Perfect Game Underclass High Honorable Mention All-American in his junior season.
