AS A SENIOR (2018): Had a career year, starting 64 games in center field and hitting .268…Set career highs in nearly every offensive category, hitting .268 with 14 doubles, fifth on the team…Had seven home runs and 35 RBI…Scored 45 runs, fifth on the team…Posted a .424 slugging percentage, fifth on the team…Hit a team-best .298 in the 2018 postseason…Totaled 18 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games after just two multi-hit games and one multi-RBI game entering the season…Set a career high with four RBI at Miami on Feb. 23, going 2-for-4 with a double and home run…Had seven at bats at Tennessee, a season high for any UF player, with a career-high four hits and career-high tying four RBI, including a three-run homer…His three-run double against Auburn on April 28 provided the winning RBI…Only made three appearances on the mound, giving up four hits in 3.2 innings…Drafted in the 25th round of the 2018 MLB Draft by the Baltimore Orioles.

AS A JUNIOR (2017): Made 27 appearances on the mound as a left-handed reliever and also made 22 starts in center field…Posted a 3-0 record with a 3.68 earned run average in 29.1 innings out of the bullpen…Had one save on the season…Pitched 12.2 innings in SEC play, second-most among UF relievers…Did not allow a run in 19 of 27 outings on the year…Went a career long 3.1 innings without allowing a run at Florida State…Hit .186 (13-for-70) with 12 runs scored and six RBIs… Went 1-for-5 at the College World Series and scored three runs…Went 4-for-13 in the NCAA Regional with three runs scored and two RBIs…Set a career high with three stolen bases against Marist in the Regional…Did not make an error all season…Had a key assist in Game 1 of the CWS Finals against LSU, throwing out a runner at second base from center field.

SUMMER (2017): Joined the Palm Beach Snowbirds in the Collegiate League of Palm Beaches…Played in 14 games and batted .381 (16-for-42) with 13 RBI and 11 runs scored…Had six doubles and four home runs.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2016): Saw action both in the field and on the mound for the Gators in 2016…As a pitcher, recorded a 2-1 record in 15 appearances with an ERA of 2.08…Gave up 4 runs (3 earned) on 13 hits and 5 walks with 8 strikeouts in 13.0 innings of work…Ranked third on the team in ERA and second among full-time relievers…Allowed opponents to hit just .260 against him…Made his first career appearance as a Gator in the second game of the season against Florida Gulf Coast, pitching a scoreless inning with 1 K…Recorded his first career save against Dartmouth on March 6…In conference play, threw 3.1 innings with a 0.00 ERA, tied for the team lead…As a position player, recorded action in 20 games, starting 6 (4 in RF, 2 in CF)…Finished with a batting average of .143 (4-28)…Registered 5 RBI, 6 runs scored, 8 walks, and 11 strikeouts…2 of his 4 career hits are home runs…His first career home run came in the top of the ninth at South Carolina…The blast was a go-ahead home run that gave the Gators the lead and ended up being the game-winner…Has 2 career stolen bases in 2 attempts…In SEC play, he hit .154 (3-21) with a slugging percentage of .615, which led the team.

SUMMER (2016): Played for the Lakeshore Chinooks in the Northwoods League, mostly seeing action on the mound...Made 16 appearances and posted a 3.06 ERA...Had 13 scoreless outings and totaled 32 strikeouts in 30 innings pitched...At the plate, he hit .282 (4-for-14) with three runs scored and two RBI.

AT SANTA FE (2015): Outfielder/left-handed pitcher for head coach Johnny Wiggs at Santa Fe College last spring…The Saints were 31-12 (.721) overall and finished 17-6 (.739) in conference play…Wiggs pitched for the Gators in 1988 and 1989 and helped the Orange and Blue make its first-ever NCAA College World Series appearance in ’88, when he was an All-SEC selection and went 11-3…Horvath started in center field for the Saints and had a .258 average, 41 runs, 33 RBI and three homers in 43 games…Also swiped 12 bases in 15 attempts...His best stretch of the season came from April 3-15, when he was 16-for-28 (.571), with 12 runs, 11 RBI and a pair of homers…Made five relief appearances and totaled 11 strikeouts in five innings…Was 0-1 with a 3.60 earned run average.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for head coach Joe Russo at Palm Beach Gardens High School…Was a teammate of Gator sophomore JJ Schwarz…Was named Florida All-Region Honorable Mention by Rawlings/Perfect Game prior to his senior year…Named Class 8A-7A-6A second-team All-State and Class 8A-7A-6A second-team Palm Beach All-County during his senior season…Earned the Tyler Dittmer Baseball Scholarship Award in 2014, awarded annually to a Palm Beach Gardens High School senior college-bound baseball player who demonstrates their commitment, skill, passion and love of the game on and off the field.
