AS A JUNIOR (2013): Member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll… Went 2-for-2 and scored twice in the Gators’ dominating victory over Florida A&M on May 6 in his collegiate debut… Delivered a pinch-hit single through the left side in the sixth inning and scored on a three-run homer by Christian Dicks… Opened the eighth inning with a base-hit up the middle and later scored on a single by Dicks.
AS A REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2012): Did not see any action in his first season on the Florida campus.
AT ST. PETERSBURG (2011): Played at St. Petersburg College in 2011 for head coach Rob Francis… Appeared in 41 games and batted .262 with 24 RBI, 22 runs, seven doubles, three triples and a homer… Drew eight walks, had four sacrifice flies and was 3-for-4 on stolen-base attempts...Chosen to the 2011 Florida Junior College Athletic Association (FJCAA) All-State Academic Team.
HIGH SCHOOL: Catcher/outfielder from Dunedin High School who played for head coach Tom Hilbert… Earned All-Pinellas Country and was Honorable Mention All-Suncoast as a senior in 2009, when he had a .417 batting average… Participated in the Pinellas-Hillsborough All-Star Game held at Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays, and was part of the Florida Athletic Coaches Association All-Star Game… Member of Dunedin’s Class 5A state championship team in 2008, the school’s first title since 1964.
