Off the Court
- Came to Florida in Summer 2023 following his freshman season at Marshall.
- Made one of the most memorable decisions in Florida basketball history in 2025, foregoing a redshirt to help Florida make its run to the national title. He returned Feb. 15 with seven games remaining in the regular season after UF suffered a pair of frontcourt injuries and played the final 16 games of Florida’s championship run.
- Has totaled 601 points, 822 rebounds and 144 blocked shots in his collegiate career.
- Tallied 358 points, 507 rebounds, 70 assists, 69 blocked shots and 46 steals in 83 appearances at Florida, including 34 starts.
- Posted the then-#2 single-season total in Florida history with 108 offensive rebounds in 2023-24 and added 101 offensive rebounds in 2025-26. He joins Patric Young as one of two Gators with multiple seasons hitting the century mark in offensive rebounds.
- Has 14 career double-doubles, including six as a Gator, highlighted by a 23-point, 17-rebound performance in a win vs. Georgia in 2024.
- Named the 2023 Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year while at Marshall.
- Finished 11th in the nation in blocked shots per game and 16th in rebounding during his freshman season at Marshall.
2025-26, Senior Season
- Averaged 4.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game in 34 appearances with two starts, shooting .637 from the field with 30 blocked shots, 25 assists and 17 steals.
- Part of a frontcourt that help UF lead the nation in rebounding margin, offensive rebounds per game and rebounds per game, rank second in offensive rebounding percentage and sixth in defensive efficiency.
- Opened the season with a pair of double-doubles, posting 11 points and 12 rebounds vs. #13 Arizona and 17 points and 13 rebounds vs. North Florida.
- Tallied 10 points, nine rebounds and three assists in his Senior Night start vs. Mississippi State.
- Posted eight points and five rebounds with three dunks in the Gators’ 47-point win at South Carolina.
- Totaled 10 points, nine rebounds and three assists in the NCAA Tournament win vs. Prairie View A&M.
- Had six points, 11 rebounds and a season-high three blocked shots in the home win vs. Georgia.
2024-25, Junior Season
- Initially planned to take a redshirt to rehab from a leg injury, but with seven games left in the regular season decided to forego the redshirt after Florida suffered a pair of frontcourt injuries.
- Averaged 2.6 points and 4.9 rebounds with 10 blocked shots in 16 games, including four games with eight or more rebounds.
- Dished a career-high five assists in his first game back, a home win vs. South Carolina.
- Scored six points on three occasions, including the Elite Eight win vs. #9 Texas Tech.
- Grabbed 10 rebounds to go with four points in just 14 minutes of action in the SEC Tournament semifinal win vs. #5 Alabama.
2023-24, Sophomore Season
- Averaged 5.3 points and 6.9 rebounds while shooting .644 from the field in 33 appearances with 32 games started.
- Handlogten’s 108 offensive rebounds marked the #2 single-season total in Florida history, and his 17.9% offensive rebounding percentage ranked fourth in the nation. Alongside Tyrese Samuel (102 offensive rebounds), became part of the first duo in Florida history to both notch 100 offensive rebounds.
- Posted four double-doubles, including a monster 23-point, 17-rebound outing in the home win vs. Georgia, which marked the most rebounds by a Gator in 13 years (Alex Tyus, 17 vs. BYU, 3/24/11). Also had double-doubles vs. Virginia (14p/14r), at Missouri (10p/13r) and home vs. Missouri (12p/12r).
- Had nine games with at least five offensive rebounds, including a season-high nine at Alabama.
- Posted six points and 12 rebounds in Florida’s win at #10 Kentucky, the Gators’ first top-10 road win since 2003.
- Stuffed the stat sheet with nine rebounds, five blocked shots and three steals to go along with four points in the win vs. #12 Auburn.
- Totaled 16 points and six rebounds in his Florida debut vs. Loyola Maryland, knocking down a pair of 3-pointers.
- Suffered a fractured leg in the SEC Tournament championship game vs. Auburn.
2022-23, Freshman Season (Marshall)
- Started all 32 games during his freshman season and averaged 7.6 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.3 blocked shots, 1.3 steals and 1.2 assists while shooting .662 from the field (.720 in conference play). He ranked 11th in the nation in blocked shots per game.
- Had eight double-doubles, 14 double-figure rebounding games and nine double-figure scoring outings, highlighted by season highs of 20 points and 19 rebounds vs. Coastal Carolina (1/7/23).
- Had four games with five or more blocked shots, including a season-best six swats vs. Akron (11/30/22). Also had a five-steal game against Louisiana-Monroe (1/26/23).
- Had nine games with five or more offensive rebounds, including nine in his 19-board game vs. Coastal Carolina.

- Attended Southlake Christian Academy, playing for Coach Rodney Monroe.
- Averaged 17 points, 13 rebounds and four blocks per game as a senior.
- A two-time all-state and all-conference performer.
- Also played lacrosse and soccer growing up.
