2022-23, Junior Season

- Saw action in the final seven games of the season following Colin Castleton’s injury, averaging 3.4 points and 1.9 rebounds with 11.2 minutes per game over that stretch.
- Scored a season-high eight points vs. Kentucky, shooting 3-for-6 from the field and 2-for-2 from the free throw line.
2021-22, Sophomore Season
- Averaged 3.0 points and 2.0 rebounds per game, making 21 appearances with three starts.
- Had a career game in the SEC Tournament, posting career highs of 16 points and nine rebounds against Texas A&M. He scored his first three baskets off offensive rebounds, including an and-1, and added his first career 3-pointer.
- Finished strong with 7.6 points per game over the final five contests of the season.
- Played a large role in the comeback win vs. Oklahoma State, posting a +14 plus-minus in 13 minutes of action with a pair of blocked shots.
- Made his first career start in the win vs. Ole Miss, playing a career-high 29 minutes.
2020-21, Freshman Season
- Recorded 15 points, 10 rebounds four assists, two steals and one blocked shot in 14 appearances, largely in limited minutes.
- Had his biggest day as a Gator with six points and five rebounds in a season-high 18 minutes as a shorthanded Florida team defeated #6 Tennessee, 75-49, matching the Gators’ largest rout of a top-10 team in program history.
- Also posted six points in the win vs. Stetson.
Prep
- A career 1,000-point scorer and 2019 state champion.
- Helped Roselle Catholic to a 22-7 record as a senior, earning a spot in the state championship game, which never took place due to COVID-19.
- Had 15 points, four rebounds and three assists in the state semifinal win vs. Gill.
- Posted a triple-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists vs. Summit and had a 22-point outing vs. Union.
- Majoring in sport management.
- Son of Rod and Kim Lane.
- Both parents played basketball at Armstrong State, which was a Division I program at the time.
