Finished his career with 36 games played, collecting 103 tackles with three interceptions… 2020: Appeared in 10 games, starting in nine of those… Collected 33 tackles… Notched a season-high six tackles and recovered first career fumble on the road at Texas A&M... Notched a defensive stop in eight contests throughout the season. 2019: Played and started in all 13 games, recording 36 total defensive stops (23 solo), 2.5 tackles for loss (4 yards), three interceptions and two pass breakups… Recorded an interception against Tennessee, Auburn and Missouri… One of four Florida defensive backs to have at least three interceptions (Donovan Stiner - 4; Shawn Davis - 3 and Kaair Elam - 3)… Amassed a season-high five solo tackles at Missouri… Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll. 2018: After being named a Preseason Third Team All-SEC cornerback, Wilson only played and started in Florida’s first two games of the season before he sustained a season-ending injury in Week 2 vs. Kentucky… Recorded one pass breakup during the limited time he saw on the field… Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll… Earned a medical redshirt. 2017: Joined Joe Haden (2007), Janoris Jenkins (2008) and Marcus Roberson (2011) as the only four true freshmen to start at cornerback on opening day in program history... Helped the Patriots to FHSAA 5A state titles in 2014 and 2016… USA Today All-American 2016… Senior year: totaled 20 tackles and three interceptions, including one 6-yard interception return for a touchdown… Was named a 2016 first-team defensive back on the 5A All-Broward team… Participated in the 2016 New Jersey regionals of The Opening, making the cut for the finals in Beaverton, Oregon… Sat out his junior season to recover from ACL surgery… Ran track at American Heritage, winning a 2A state championship in his junior season… Brother of former Gator Quincy Wilson (2014-16), while his father, Chad Wilson, played at Miami (FL) from 1992-94… Played for Coach Pat Surtain.
