Brooks Gillerlain enters her first year part of the Gators football nutrition staff as a Football Performance Dietitian.
Gillerlain arrives to “The Swamp” after spending the 2021 season as a Gatorade Sports Nutrition fellow for Virginia Tech. Prior to that, she was a sports nutrition graduate intern at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill (UNC) from fall 2019 to spring 2021.
A native of Suffolk, VA., Gillerlain graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2021 with a Master of Public Health/Registered Dietitian degree. Before attending UNC Chapel Hill, she graduated from Randolph College with a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports studies and was a four-year starter and three-year captain for the Wildcats volleyball team.
Gillerlain is credentialed as a Registered Dietitian (RD) and as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She is an active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (AND) in the Collegiate & Professional Sports Dietitians Association (CPSDA).
