Mike Richard enters his first season with the Gators after being hired to Florida’s staff in the role of quality control – offensive line prior to the 2022 season.
 
He spent the last eight seasons (2014-21) at Louisiana and four (2018-21) of these with Napier in the same role. Richard worked with two NFL Draft picks in Kevin Dotson (Pittsburgh) and Robert Hunt (Miami), three Joe Moore Semifinalist offensive lines and 13 All-Sun Belt conference selections
 
Richard was part of four straight Sun Belt West Division titles, a share of the Sun Belt title in 2020 and 2021 Sun Belt Conference Champions.

A native of Carencro, La., he was a student assistant for the Ragin' Cajuns from 2014-16.
