Prior to Florida: Notched 51 tackles and four interceptions – one of which he returned for a touchdown – as a senior… Helped Bartram Trail to an 11-1 record and a berth to the 2019 FHSAA Class 8A Regional Semifinals… Posted 42 tackles and three interceptions as a junior in 2018, despite playing through a wrist injury and wearing a cast during games… Started high school career as a receiver for the junior varsity team before switching to defensive back in the 2017 season opener… 2018 and 2019 Perfect Game Preseason Underclassman All-America Honorable Mention… Also played baseball and helped lead Bartram Trail to its first district title in 11 years as a junior… Hit .388 with 27 runs scored, 18 stolen bases, and 12 runs batted in, along with 15 walks and a .510 on-base percentage in 27 games… Held offers from Clemson, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Virginia Tech, among others… Step-father, Willie Harris, played 12 seasons in the MLB and won the 2005 World Series as a member of the Chicago White Sox.
