Overview
  • Totaled 409 points (7.4) and 231 rebounds (4.2) over two seasons of competition at Florida, making 55 appearances with 45 starts.
  • An outstanding athlete with the ability to play above the rim.
  • Tallied 1,041 career points and 565 rebounds between his time at Florida and Louisiana Tech.
  • Played in 65 games with 52 starts over two seasons at Louisiana Tech, averaging 9.7 points and 5.1 rebounds to go along with 85 blocked shots.
  • Earned 2018 Conference USA Freshman of the Year honors and followed that up by starting all 33 games as a sophomore and posting 12.2 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.

2021-22, Senior Season
  • Averaged 8.6 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, making 28 starts in 30 appearances.
  • Posted his UF high with 22 points and a career high with five steals vs. MSU, becoming the fifth Gator since 1996 (Donovan/White Era) to post a 22-point, five-steal outing. He joins Nick Calathes (twice), Corey Brewer (twice), Brett Nelson and Jason Williams (twice).
  • Reached the 1,000-point career scoring mark during his 14-point performance in the win at Missouri.
  • Posted 15 points on 5-for-8 shooting in the defeat of #20 Florida State.
  • Threw down the game-tying alley-oop in the final minute of the win vs. Ohio State.
 
2020-21, Junior Season
  • Averaged 6.1 points and 4.4 rebounds, starting 17 of his 25 games. Duruji posted four double-figure scoring games and a grabbed a season-best 11 boards vs. Missouri. His 35 offensive rebounds ranked second on the team.
  • Moved into the starting lineup in the win at Vanderbilt and responded with 11 points, five rebounds and three blocked shots. Duruji made an immediate impact, scoring the Gators’ first five points of the game.
  • Had his most impactful game as a Gator in the win vs. LSU, tallying 16 points and a team-leading seven rebounds.
  • Led Florida in scoring for the first time with 15 points vs. Kentucky, then had another big day in the win at Kentucky, scoring 10 first-half points to help the Gators weather an early deficit.
  • Made his Florida debut in the win vs. Army, then scored his first basket vs. BC on a fastbreak alley-oop dunk from Tyree Appleby.
 
2019-20, Redshirt Season
  • Competed on the scout team while fulfilling his sit-out season under NCAA transfer rules.
 
2018-19, Sophomore Season (Louisiana Tech)
  • One of three Bulldogs to start all 33 games, Duruji totaled 403 points for a scoring average of 12.2 points per game, second best on the team.
  • Recorded 20 double-digit scoring games, leading the squad in scoring six times.
  • Posted two 20+ scoring performances, including a 22-point effort at No. 22 LSU (11/16).
  • Registered a season-high 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting in conference opener against Southern Miss (12/29).
  • Notched three double-doubles on the season, second most on the squad.
  • Had 16 points and a career-high 14 rebounds at FIU (2/2).
  • Led the team with 203 rebounds for an average of 6.2 per game, ranking 13th in C-USA.
  • Also anchored the squad in blocks with 40, sixth most in the league, for an average of 1.2 per game, including a career-high four blocks vs. WKU (1/26) and UTEP (2/14).  
 
2017-18, Freshman Season (Louisiana Tech)
  • After seeing limited action in non-conference, ended up starting the last 19 games at forward with first career start coming at Marshall (12/30).
  • Totaled 229 points on the season for an average of 7.2 points per game.
  • Recorded 10 double-digit scoring games, including two 20+ scoring performances, including a career-high 25 points on 8-of-11 shooting with four 3-pointers vs. North Texas (1/18) that helped him earn C-USA Freshman of the Week honors.
  • Also averaged 4.1 rebounds and a team-high 1.4 blocks per game.
  • Totaled 45 rejections, most by any C-USA freshman and fifth most by a freshman in program history.
 
Prep
  • Helped St. Andrew's Episcopal to the MAC semifinals for three straight years.
  • As a senior, averaged 17 points, nine rebounds and two blocks per game.
  • Earned All-MAC honors back-to-back seasons.
  • Participated in multiple all-star games, including the Crab Ball Classic All-Star game for Team Washington, D.C.
  • Selected as a Capital All-American which includes the elite seniors from the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia).
  • Runner-up in the American Family Insurance National High School Slam Dunk competition in Phoenix, Arizona.
  • As a junior, averaged 15 points and 10 rebounds per game.
  • Also starred in track and field, placing second in the 4A state championships in the high jump and ranked in the top 30 in the country in the triple jump.
