2019-20, Grad Transfer Season (Florida)
- Averaged 12.8 points and a team-high 7.5 rebounds, tallying eight double-doubles and seven 20-point games.
- Had 24 points and 16 rebounds vs. Alabama to help the Gators complete a 21-point comeback victory in double overtime.
- Put up 11 points and 16 rebounds to help the Gators defeat fourth-ranked Auburn, Florida’s first win vs. an AP top-five win since Nov. 2009.
- Earned All-Tournament team honors at the Charleston Classic, posting 20 points and 11 rebounds in the championship game vs #18 Xavier.
- The first Gator in four years (Dorian Finney-Smith) to post three consecutive double-doubles, doing so in his first three games of the season.
- Posted 20 points and 10 rebounds in his Florida debut vs. UNF. It marked the first 20-point, 10-rebound game in a season opener by a Gator since Mike Miller had 25 points and 11 rebounds vs. Georgia Southern on Nov. 16, 1998.
- Shot 15-for-17 from the free throw line vs. Utah State, the most made free throws in a game by a Gator since Joakim Noah’s 19-for-22 game vs. Georgia on March 1, 2006.
2018-19, Redshirt Junior Season (Virginia Tech)
- Averaged 14.9 points, second on the team, and led Virginia Tech with 7.5 rebounds, on the way to a second-team All-ACC season.
- Started all 35 games and had seven 20-point performances, including a season-best 29 at Pittsburgh. All seven 20-point games came vs. ACC competition.
- Posted nine double-doubles, including an 18-point, 16-rebound output vs. Duke in the Sweet 16.
- His 83 assists ranked fifth nationally among players 6-foot-10 or taller, second among power conference players.
- Averaged 17.3 points and 9.3 points in three NCAA Tournament games, earning East Region All-Tournament team honors.
2017-18, Redshirt Sophomore Season (Virginia Tech)
- Posted 12.5 points and 5.9 rebounds per game while shooting .558 from the field and starting 32 of Virginia Tech’s 33 games.
- Had five 20-point games, including a career-high scoring day with 31 points in a home win vs. Pittsburgh.
- Posted two double-doubles, including a 19-point, 12-rebound effort at Louisville.

- Missed the season due to a leg injury.
2015-16, Freshman Season (Virginia Tech)
- Averaged 6.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in 35 games, including five starts.
- Scored in double figures 10 times and posted two double-doubles, including 11 points and 12 rebounds vs. Grambling in his first career start.

- Son of Kerry and Lamila Blackshear.
- Has two younger siblings, Kenan and Kayla. Kenan is a freshman on the men’s basketball team at FAU.
- Father played basketball at Stetson, where he was the Atlantic Sun Player of the Year as a junior and graduated as the school’s all-time leading scorer.
- His father played professionally overseas for 10 years … His mother also played basketball at Stetson, where she was one of the Hatters’ top players.
- Majored in public relations at Virginia Tech.
