Competed in the 1,500-meter free at the 2006 ConocoPhillips U.S. Nationals, posting a time of 16:46.99.
At Florida
2006-07: Placed 16th in the 1,650 free (16:10.25), as well as 23rd in both the 400 IM (4:08.69) and 500 free (4:40.63), at the Texas Invitational (11/30-12/2) … Finished fourth in 1,000 free against Texas (11/10) with a career-best time of 9:25.74 … Placed seventh in the 200 fly (1:55.93) against Minnesota (10/27) … Posted a third-place finish in the 1,000 free (9:31.46), and also touched sixth in the 500 free (4:42.31), against Georgia (10/26) … Made his collegiate debut in the road matchup with LSU (10/19), turning in a runner-up finish in the 1,000 free (9:27.41) and a fifth-place showing in the 200 fly (1:55.85).
2005-06: Redshirted the season and did not compete.
