1999-2000: Swam Florida's fourth best times of the season in both the 50y Free (20.36) and 100y Free (45.28) at the Bulldog Invitational
1998-99: Recorded season-best time in both the 50- and 200 free at the Speedo Cup with times of 21.74 and 1:42.79, respectively...clocked season-best time in the 100 free (47.12) as leadoff on 400 free relay team against Tennessee...posted a third-place finish in the 200 free against Indian River on February 27 (1:45.01)...recorded first place finish as member of 200 free relay in the Alumni Meet on October 10.
High School: 1998 graduate of Gainesville High School...finished runner-up in the state competition in the 200-yard free, clocking a personal-best time of 1:42.09...placed third in the state in the 100 fly with his top individual time of 51.90...selected team MVP and led Gainesville H.S. to three consecutive top-ten finishes in state competition...school-record holder in the 200- and 500 free, and 100 fly...Swam under Gator Great Rob Ramirez at Gainesville H.S...swam under Scott Caron with 300 Club team.
