As a Junior (2014):
- SEC Academic Honor Roll

- Hit eight home runs and led the team with a .514 on-base percentage
- Set a career high with three hits Feb. 16 vs. Minnesota at the Easton Desert Classic in Las Vegas
- Tied that mark with three hits on June 3 vs. Alabama as UF clinched its first national championship
- Recorded a career-best five-game hitting streak Feb. 8-14, spanning the Gators’ final three games at the USF Wilson-DeMarini Tournament and their first two contests at the Easton Desert Classic
- Hit her first two home runs during a doubleheader against Maryland and Radford on March 2 during the final day of the Diamond 9 Citrus Classic in Orlando
- Slugged a grand slam March 22 during Florida’s win over Alabama
- Provided the winning runs on April 9 at Florida State with a two-run pinch-hit home run off All-American Lacey Waldrop
- Knocked three of her six doubles on the season during the NCAA Tournament (May 17 vs. Stetson, May 28 vs. Baylor, June 3 vs. Alabama)
- Batted a team-best .556 (5x9) during the Gators’ five games at the Women’s College World Series
- Had three hits (3x4) with two runs scored, a home run and two RBI on May 30 as Florida defeated No. 1 seed Oregon to stay in the winner’s bracket at the WCWS
- Tied for the team lead (Schwarz) with 13 hit-by-pitches
- Showed improved patience at the plate, as her 44 walks were more than she drew during her first two years combined (40)
- Earned a career-best four free passes on two occasions (March 26 at UCF, March 30 at Tennessee)
- Played well defensively as she was perfect on 30 chances in the outfield, including a career-best four putouts in the WCWS finale against the Crimson Tide

As a Freshman (2012):
- Became the first Gator since Megan Bush did so in 2010 to hit two homers in one inning against Ole Miss, tying a single-game school record
- Rallied for a school-record tying seven RBI in a single game, including six in one inning thanks to her two long balls, against Ole Miss April 8
- Castro’s seven RBI were also the most in a game for a single player in the SEC in 2012
- Had four multi-hit and multi-RBI games her freshman year
- Her pinch hit home run on a 3-2 count propelled the Gators to the 2012 SEC Tournament Championship Game
- One of just 14 SEC players to hit a grand slam in 2012, contributing to the Gators’ three on the year
High School / Travel Ball:
- A third baseman for American Heritage
- Played travel ball with the Gold Coast Hurricanes
- 2011 Class 3A Florida Player of the Year
- One of 10 nominees for the 2011 MaxPreps National Softball Player of the Year Award
