As a Freshman (2011): Played two games UF’s opening weekend Feb. 11 (FGCU) and Feb. 12 (NC State), scoring one run against the Wolfpack, before enduring an early season-ending ACL injury… Received a medical redshirt.

High School: A 2010 graduate from American Heritage High in Plantation, Fla. … Helped the American Heritage team to two Florida Class 3A State Championships in 2008 and 2009 and three district titles… A 2010 First Team Class 3A Miracle Sports All-State Softball Team selection… Helped the Patriots to a 23-5 record in 2010… Named the 2009 Broward County Player of the Year by the Broward County Sun Sentinel… Was also a First Team All-State honoree in 2009… Tallied a .600 batting average and stole over 30 bases in 2009… Was named Most Outstanding Offensive Player at American Heritage… A two-time first-team all-county player and earned honorable mention her freshman season… Played travel ball for the Gold Coast Hurricanes, coached by Marty Cooper… Helped the Hurricanes to the Amateur Association of America (ASA) National Championship in 2008, while finishing second at Gold Nationals in 2009.
