- Kessler, who wrapped up the season on a seven-match winning streak, collected seven victories over ranked opponents and her steady performance helped the Gators secure seven-straight wins to close out the year and a 10-3 finish in the SEC
- Entered the season ranked No. 32 and continued to climb the charts as the year progressed, finishing at No. 8 in the final rankings
- After falling to UGA’s Katarina Jokic on March 5, Kessler put together a dominant run, winning seven-consecutive matches all in straight sets
- In doubles, Kessler was just as impactful as she combined with Marlee Zein to form Florida’s top-ranked duo
- Kessler and Zein compiled a 11-6 record in dual match play and rose to as to as high as No. 2 in the ITA doubles rankings
- The tandem finished No. 7 in the ITA doubles rankings
- The duo posted five wins over ranked foes including two top 15 wins during the SEC circuit
- After losses at Georgia and Tennessee, the Gators’ record stood at 5-6, but thanks in large part to the leadership and production from Kessler, Florida turned the season around and won its final seven matches
