Christopher Cafaro is entering his fifth season with the Florida Gators, his second as their full-time Video & Performance Analyst.
He began working with the program during his undergrad years in the spring of 2018. Cafaro started as the team’s Video Coordinator. During his first couple of seasons under Becky Burleigh, Alan Kirkup and Victor Campbell, he also served as a volunteer manager, helping out in any way he could as a green member of the staff. Cafaro slowly grew his role each year, eventually taking over all data analytics responsibilities on top of his film duties.
He was selected as a Performance Analyst for the June 19-29, 2022 U.S. Women's U-23 camp in Sweden.
Cafaro graduated cum laude in the summer of 2020 from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in sport management. Along the way, he started his US Coaching License journey. Cafaro also holds a Level 3 certification in Performance Analysis with the International Professional Scouting Organization.
Today, he is currently pursuing double Gator status. In the next year or so, Cafaro hopes to complete his master’s degree in applied physiology and kinesiology, with a specialization in athlete development. He also has begun studying for and plans to attain his CSCS certification.
