NCAA Championships: Qualified for the 100-yard butterfly and 200-yard butterfly preliminaries with respective times of 53.44 and 1:57.30… her 53.44 in the 100 Fly was a season-best… SEC Championships: Swam to a season-best in the 200 Fly (1:56.10), placing second of the Florida women and sixth overall... finished among the Top-20 in the 200-yard medley relay (1:40.18) and 100-yard butterfly (53.59), collecting 43 points for the Gators… Competed in the preliminaries for 200-yard backstroke (1:57.31)… set two season-best marks at the All-Florida Invitational in the 50-yard freestyle (24.05) and 200-yard individual medley (2:06.55)… also achieved season-best times in the 100-yard freestyle exhibition (52.38) against South Carolina and the 200-yard backstroke (1.57.12) at the Ohio State Invitational… participated in all 10 regular-season meets and totaled six relay wins and three individual titles… International Competition: Qualified for the 2015-2016 U.S. Olympic Time Trials in Omaha, Nebraska this summer with a 2:16.24 in the 200 Back…
2014-15 (sophomore)
NCAA Championships: Notched career-best times of 53.43 and 1:56.70 in the 100-yard and 200-yard butterfly races, respectively… SEC Championships: Placed third in the 200-yard butterfly B-Final (1:56.78), fourth in the 200-yard backstroke C-Final (1:56.85) and seventh in the 100-yard butterfly C-Final (53.74)… Finished with one individual win and was part of three first-place relay teams during the dual meet and invitational competition.
2013-14 (freshman)
SEC Championships: Placed 14th in the 200-yard butterfly in a personal-best time of 1:59.19, and finished 27th in the 100-yard butterfly (54.67) and 37th in the 200-yard backstroke (1:59.05)… Posted a season-best in the 200-yard backstroke at the Ohio State Invitational with a time of 1:57.06… Competed in other dual meets and invitational competition throughout the season.
Prior to Florida
- High school All-American and was selected as the Big Bend Swimmer of the Year in 2013
- Lawton Chiles were two-time Florida state champions
- Coached in high school by Ashley Moore
- Trained under her father with the Tallahassee Area Aquatic Club
- Father, Terry, swam for Florida State from 1964-68; mother, Jodi, swam for Miami (FL) from 1975-79; cousin, Scott Peek, played football at UF from 2008-12
